Technical by tom keeling

As a (unilateral) boater safety initiative, Tom has decided to publish on this page occasional information to assist engineers and boaters where a safety matter has arisen and no obvious action has yet been taken by the relevant authorities. These memos are produced for no fee and are aimed at increasing boater safety and awareness of relevant technical matters.

Tom completed a MSc degree in 2022/3 focussing on gas safety on boats; some of the findings are referenced in the below, but there is more to come in this very poorly researched area.
